Kristina did a fabulous job and kept the girls fully entertained and skilfully had them out the door before us so they always thought they were leaving us behind for an adverture rather than being left behind by their parents! Kristina had a lovely fun manner with the children and if we go back to La Tania/Meribel we would definately request her again.

Clara is an excellent nanny. She really seems to enjoy her job and loves all the children, taking photos for us with her camera.
She was always on time and had lots of activities planned for Jack. She was happy to join in when Jack's big sister wanted to take him
for a long walk in the snow. It was a difficult week for us as my husband and I had to leave two days early due to health problems. Clara could see when Jack was upset and suggested things to cheer him up.

Candice has been great. We have gotten just what have needed. Someone at ski school drop off/pick up; someone who can take one child home earlier than the other; and in Candice's case someone who could help India overcome her fear of the button lift so that she could join ski school with confidence; finally, someone who allowed us to have our first proper après ski that went until mid- night.

So it's working really well. We are really happy with your service. It was the perfect solution to our situation.

I have no hesitation in recommending Elizabeth to any kind of child care as her work here with us has always been exemplary. We loved having her around as she is attentive, loving, caring, responsible and very able and willing.

Elizabeth cared for our daughter between the ages of 6 and nine and we can vouch for her reliability, trustworthiness and capability at working extremely hard. I hope you enjoy her as much as we did.

We had a great holiday and were delighted with Natasha – thank you very much.

This is the second time we have used merinannies and have had an equally positive experience as the first time.

Natasha was extremely competent, warm and friendly and the children(Freddie 3 and Monty 1) were instantly comfortable with her.

I was impressed that she was so proactive with activities and took the boys to both the Altiport for a picnic and all the way down to Meribel in the bubble – the boys were very excited about both activities.

She also coordinated pick up and drop off from ski school with our eldest son.

Each day she left our apartment immaculate which was much appreciated but certainly not expected.

We look forward to using merinannies again next year.

Nicole was fantastic and Amy got on with her very well. She was prompt in the mornings which let us get on with our days out on the slopes.

Great to have the flexibility to have a nanny for part of a day (ie, 10-4), and also for parts of the week.

We found Julie in Verbier absolutely great. She was calm and relaxed, but really fun and inventive with the kids - she played with them
outside for ages, making up games in the snow, and did drawing with them - cooked them their lunch and played with them - they really really warmed to her and my children had never been to playgroups or left with nannies on their own so we were delighted. Would love to see her again!

Julie is very nice and patient and was great given that she was dealing with 2 small babies at the same time. She really followed the routine as requested and helped to run things smoothly with the kids. We would definitely have her back in any of our holidays!

We have just got back to London having had a great week in St Anton. Nina worked out really well. She came across as being v sensible. She was v comfortable with the kids and they really liked her. So thank you very much for pointing me in her direction.

Thank you also for sorting Anne for us at short notice. It turned out that she lived right next door (!)so she didn't have far to go home at the end of the evening.

Georgie had a very good week with Anna and we were more than happy to

leave her with Anna every morning.  Anna was particularly helpful and
proactive in offering to go shopping and sort out Georgie's lunches for
us which saved as the job of making a packed lunch everyday. She was
also happy to take the initiative and decide for herself what to dress
Georgie in if we were off for our lesson before Georgie had woken up -
we didn't have to lay everything out etc. Anna is a warm, fun and
energetic person and Georgie loved dancing around and singing with her.

Just to say thanks very much for organising the nanny for us in Meribel. I have to say that AnnaMarie was absolutely lovely. She has a lovely gently nature and was fabulous with the children! Anytime we went back they were happy and quiet!!
We have booked to go back to Meribel for half term next year (13th - 17th Feb), and were wondering if we could have a nanny again, prefereably AnnaMarie. Please let me know what you need me to do.

We had a lovely time thanks very much, due in large part to Laura.  We couldn't have asked for a lovelier person to look after Abbie and Ben.  She was fun, reliable and very creative, ensuring that Abbie and Ben had a great few hours between finishing their skiing lesson and coming skiing in the afternoon with us.  Thank you very much for finding her for us.

Happy New Year to you too!!  We had an amazing holiday with perfect weather in a great hotel and Rosie our nanny was amazing.  She is a lovely girl, very reliable and flexible.  I felt totally happy the children were safe and well and following their usual routines with her.  I would highly recommend her as a nanny.

Right from the start we knew we were in good and caring hands. Every effort was made to make the booking process easy and hassle free.

Your nannies organised excellent activities and entertainment, they were constantly engaged with the children  who were very stimulated and happy. We were impressed by the cards  and crafts they made. Each day when we returned the children would perform their new shows they had been practising all day or take us out to show the snowmen they built. What a reassurance for all the mothers in our group! What a warm and caring manner your nannies have Katia.

I would definitely recommend them and use your agency again.

Even people in our hotel commented to us on how good she was with him when they had seen them around together. And we really appreciated how flexible she was on our arrangements.

Many apologies for my late reply.  Kellie was absolutely wonderful with Maisy.  We could not have hoped for a nicer, more caring, capable person to care for our gorgeous Maisy.  Kellie was very flexible with respect to our/Maisy's schedule, always punctual and also a great source of information about Meribel.  We were very grateful that Kellie was happy to cook lunch (scrambled eggs + toast) for Maisy for lunch every day as she really enjoys her eggs!  Kellie also took Maisy out to play in the snow and for a lovely walk every afternoon, which she thoroughly enjoyed.  Our whole family found Kellie lovely to be around and this was especially evident as Maisy took to her very quickly.  Many thanks again Katia for organising our child care as knowing that Maisy was so well cared for really allowed the rest of us to relax and enjoy our holiday.  We would not hesitate to contact you again.

We had a great holiday thank you.

Claire was great and made me feel very comfortable about leaving Eve with her. She is very confident and clearly knows her stuff regarding children as she managed to get Eve to eat well which has been an ongoing struggle for me. I wouldn't hesitate in having Claire again and the other people in the chalet who didn't ski always gave me feedback as they were spending more time with Claire and Eve than me and they said how great she is and how she cuddled Eve and talked and played with her all the time. In fact one of the older ladies of the group said that she was a true diamond and also there was another lady with us who had a 3 month old baby and she said that she wouldn't hesitate to have Claire look after her baby.

We were extremely impressed by Maja, She was a fantastic Nanny. She was totally reliable, following all the  instructions we gave her an communicating what had happened throughout  the day. From the start she made us feel comfortable and confident to leave the children with her. She was brilliant with the children, she engaged them wonderfully and  they loved being with her.

I just wanted to write to you to say how utterly brilliant Rennae has been out in meribel for us.  She is everything I could have ever asked for.  Punctual, happy, smiling, sensible, fun..  Most of all Eliza adored her. She played endless games of sharks with her, took her swimming, sledging, out and about.  Each morning eliza couldn't wait until she arrived.  that is the best feedback anyone can ever give! for me, this was the difference between a great holiday and me feeling worried/guilty etc if Eliza is unhappy.  I really cannot recommend her more.  she is a star.  I would be more than happy to give her any references should she need any.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for taking such great care of Isabella (14 months) last week in Meribel.
I was quite nervous as it was the first time I'd left her with anyone that she didn't know but you were fantastic.  You spent all the time you had with her making things fun and were very professional (waiting to have a cup of tea until she was asleep - which wasn't necessary but great to know that you were so focused on her - always on time etc).  We were particularly grateful for the extra hours you were able to give us skiing and the babysitting (which we we hadn't booked in advance).  Nothing was too much trouble and I know from how excited Isabella was to see you each morning that she had fun too!

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending you to anyone else.  I'd also be happy to speak to anyone should they need further reassurance about you by phone.

New Year, 2008/9

We are back home six days and busy with kids back to school etc.We had a great trip to Meribell and certainly without Sophie's significant efforts we wouldn't have been able to go at all. The requirements of  a six and five year old in Ski school are very different to those of an infant (who was sick for the initial 3days).Also while we were staying in Motteret the ski school that we used was based in Meribell . Hence a bus ride to and from every day.So there was a few challenges there for both Sophie and parents alike. We found her to be very professional ,very clued into safety and the kids needs, very accommodating particularly as we didn't know how the daily routine was going to work, and most of all proactive energetic and interested in the work .For example Sophie was able to get the buggy up 3 steps of a gramed bus with the other two in tow.She also had the buggy on the egg lifts.She often had the older ones sledging while giving the infant his soother.As regards the overall cost it does add up to being a significant figure however its hard work with a lot of responsibility and next to no time allowed to get up to speed with the kids and the family scenario.We would consider the service good value for money and would have no hesitation as acting as a reference

Dear Katia,
Once again, Philipp and I thank you for finding Nathalie for us. As you know, she took care of our 11 month year old girl all day for 10 days while we went skiing with my family. We were staying at the Allodis Hotel in Meribel. We did come back for lunch which allowed me to see Stephanie and which gave Nathalie a little over an hour off. This schedule worked very well for all of us.

From the start, Nathalie was enthusiastic and happy with her job. Stephanie responded right away to Nathalie. Stephanie doesn't always respond so easily to new people so this was quite exceptional. Nathalie managed this by not overwhelming the baby but by being patient, gentle and kind. Throughout the week, Nathalie was very responsible with her different duties that involved taking care of the baby.

Stephanie was sick with a little cold so Nathalie had to take her temperature and monitor her very carefully. She did this very thoroughly and told me exactly how she had been, down to how many times she coughed, whether her nose was more or less runny etc... Nathalie's reports of the day were always complete and detailed. This was extremely important to me and enabled me to trust her completely. I always knew if she had cried or laughed for how long and why. When Stephanie was not sick, Nathalie took Stephanie out in the snow.

They used the baby sled, played in the snow.....I knew that Nathalie was always cautious with Stephanie, always aware of whether she was too cold, too hot, whether she was getting too tired etc...but because Nathalie is energetic and fun, I knew that Stephanie was having a good time and I knew that for a fact because, Stephanie was very happy when we returned from skiing. She never cried desperate to come into my arms. She had obviously had a very good time!

Nathalie genuinely cared about Stephanie so much that Stephanie got enough confidence to take her first steps with her. Quite an achievement! Nathalie was very flexible throughout the week. If she had to come earlier or stay later, she was more than willing to accomodate us. After leaving us in the evening (generally around 5 o'clock) , on two or three occasions, she bought diapers and food for the baby, saving us from going all the way down to the village. Always friendly with the rest of my family (not only my older kids but my parents, my brother and his family) Nathalie is a lovely, gentle and cheerful person to be around. She has a natural touch with babies and young children.

We wish her all the best and hope to work with her again.
